Hotel PMS & POS

For two years I was the only backend developer at Dust, a four-person startup building a property management system for hotels. The other three developers worked on the frontend, and I designed and built every backend service from scratch.

The platform ran multiple hotels on one multi-tenant system. It covered reservations, rooms and guests, plus an integrated point of sale for the bars and restaurants on site. It also synced with a channel manager, so availability and bookings stayed consistent with online travel agencies. The core was a .NET monolith, with supporting services communicating over RabbitMQ, all running on AWS.

The product ran in beta with its first hotels and is no longer online.
