Recapfy MCP Server

MCP server that lets AI assistants pull YouTube transcripts and ask questions about videos, paying per call in USDC, with no account or API key.

Overview

An open-source MCP server that gives MCP clients direct access to Recapfy, so it can fetch a YouTube video's full transcript or ask questions about it without leaving the assistant.

There's no sign-up, API key or monthly plan. Each call is paid in USDC on Solana through x402, a protocol that lets agents pay per request, so they only pay for what they use. It's live in production.

It installs with a single npx command, it's listed in the official MCP Registry, and every release is published automatically from GitHub.
